PARENTS TRANSPORT STUDENTS TO AND FROM AUDITIONS.
Dinner is NOT provided at the event, as students are able to leave as soon as they finish the audition. Students are encouraged to bring snacks or a "sack dinner" if they're concerned about eating.
Students are assigned audition numbers at random and therefore will not know their exact audition time. The earliest singers will be around 5:00pm and the final singers will be by 8:00pm.
Fee: $20 per student - Payable Here
Cuts: October 25, 2024 - before 4 pm
The Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) provides a wonderful opportunity for our 9th/10th Grade Choir students with the 9th/10th Grade Honor Choir. This process will help build confidence, increase students' music literacy, build their vocal production, prepare them for the highly competitive All-State Auditions and introduce them to choir friends from across our region! We highly encourage all 9th/10th Grade Students to take part in this competitive but fun process!
How does this work?
This is an excellent opportunity for our young singers! I hope you and your student/singer will consider this opportunity!

How does this work?
- Students sign up to audition during class.
- Pick up the 2 audition pieces from the choir office.
- Practice the music using the rehearsal tracks located on our website.
- If your student makes it into the 9/10 Honor Choir
- They will receive 2 more pieces of music to learn.
- Attend a Clinic Friday, November 8th at Birdville Fine Arts and Athletic Complex from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- Attend a Choir Clinic Saturday, November 9th at Carroll Senior High Music Center from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM
- Present a Concert at Carroll Senior High Music Center - time TBA.
