Mrs. Engel is dedicated to teaching and mentoring the next generation of singers through her private voice studio Bel Canto Studio. She works with students of varying ages and backgrounds, focusing on vocal health, technical development, and confident performance.
As a performer, Mrs. Engel has appeared in a variety of operatic productions, bringing both dramatic sensitivity and vocal artistry to the stage. Her roles include Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro at Bethel University, as well as performances in Die Zauberflöte, Suor Angelica, and Cendrillon. Alongside her operatic work, she was an active choral artist with ensembles such as the Wisconsin Lutheran Choir, Wisconsin Lutheran Chamber Choir, and the Bethel University Choir. In addition to her singing, Mrs. Engel gained experience as a conductor, leading both choral and instrumental ensembles. She has served as a student conductor of the Wisconsin Lutheran Concert Band, student conductor of the Wisconsin Lutheran Choir, Assistant Conductor of the Bethel University Choir, Assistant Director with Sing Out Loud's Bellettes, and Guest Director at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
