Casey LeVie is in her seventh year of teaching and her first year as the Director of Choirs at Carroll Senior High School. Ms. LeVie began her teaching career as the Assistant Choral Director at Duncanville High School where she was a collaborative pianist for their 2021 ACDA A Cappella Men’s Choir Performance and their 2020 TMEA General Session Performance, “It Starts with Music.” After her tenure at Duncanville, LeVie taught as an Associate Choral Director at Keller Central High School where she directed the Non-Varsity Show Choir “Voltage,” Non-Varsity Tenor/Bass Choir, and Sub-Non-Varsity Treble Choir. LeVie’s Show Choir received statewide recognition and placed on the national show choir competition stage in 2024 for the first time in program history. While at Central, LeVie also served as Music Director for Central Stage Theatre’s productions of “Mary Poppins,” “The Music Man,” and “Grease” where she received “Best Musical Direction” nominations and awards in the district and greater DFW area. Most recently, LeVie taught as the Associate Director of Choirs at Texas’ largest high school, Allen High School, where in a program of over 450 students she directed the Varsity Treble Choirs, Non-Varsity Treble Choir, and Sub-Non-Varsity Mixed Choir. Recently, the Allen High School Varsity Treble Choir under her direction was named a National Winner for the 2025 Foundation for Music Education Mark of Excellence Award, an award given to only a selected number of ensembles across the country.
Ms. LeVie received her Bachelor of Music Education in Choral Music from Baylor University where she studied with Dr. Lynne Gackle, Dr. Michele Henry, Dr. Deborah Williamson, and Dr. Randy Umstead. LeVie performed with Baylor Bella Voce at the 2018 SWACDA Conference and was the soprano section leader for both Baylor Bella Voce and the Baylor A Cappella Choir. LeVie was also the President of the Baylor Student Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association and a Student Ambassador for the Baylor School of Music. LeVie is currently pursuing a graduate degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University 's College of Business where she is working towards a Master of Science in Leadership.
A skilled pianist, vocalist, and violinist, LeVie has devoted much of her life honing her musical skills. When she’s not engulfed in the music world, she enjoys listening to AC/DC, doing puzzles, working out, and spending time with her German Shepherd, Benny.
